Hey girl!
Lately, I've been enjoying the flowers bursting with color outside, birds singing excitedly, and warmth in the sunshine! 🌷
Today, I want to encourage you to create more time in your schedule to spend outside! I think about how God created Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and I really believe we have been made to be outside more often. 🦋
According to an article called “A Survey of Modern Life: Outdoor Time”, “A majority of Americans (58.8%) indicated that they spend one hour or less per day outdoors and more than a third (37.4%) are getting 30 minutes or less.”
Here are just a handful of the many benefits of time outside:
Breathing fresh air
Calming your nervous system
Beholding beauty and filling your soul with wonder of God
Soaking in Vitamin D
Engaging your senses
This week, I want to invite you to begin creating new rhythms of getting outside more. 🐿️
Some of my favorite ways to get outside regularly are:
Go for a walk with a friend or loved one
Eat meals outside
Spend 5-10 minutes after waking outside first thing
Mini walks throughout the day - even just to your mailbox or the beginning of your neighborhood and back
Sit outside and listen to an audiobook or read - here's the new audiobook I got today!
Enjoy the beauty of a sunset

Psalm 104 is one of my favorites about God's Creation! 🍃
Cheering you on,
