Mission:

I help women say goodbye to an overburdened and unsustainable lifestyle and rediscover wellness through a new lens of grace, delight, and freedom— with Jesus at the center.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke on you and learn from me

because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry."

—Jesus (Matthew 11:28-30 NET)

Vision:

To strengthen the body of Christ by helping more women feel replenished— nourishing and stewarding their spirit, mind, and body— so that they can be more present and obtain greater longevity in life and ministry as they pursue their God-given callings.

Values:

♡ Christ-Centered

I help women break away from the way our culture defines wellness and redefine wellness with Jesus at the center and encourage them in nourishing their spirit, mind, and body. I don't believe any of us can be truly whole or healthy without Jesus. I believe we were created for a relationship with Him, and without Him, we are without hope and will endlessly strive without soul-level satisfaction... which can only be found in our Creator and Savior Jesus.

"Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit." —3 John 1:2 NLT

♡ Stewardship

When we approach wellness from a lens of thanksgiving and stewardship, it changes everything. Rather than exercise feeling like a burden, we become eager to care for the body God gave us and keep it mobile. Rather than counting calories or obsessing over a certain dress size, we can simply approach our plate with joy and freedom. Let's honor God, enjoy Him in this area, and experience the beauty in His good design for us.

♡ Simplicity

We humans love to overcomplicate things and become too legalistic. Sometimes, the world of health and wellness can seem overwhelming and habit change can feel burdensome. But, I don't think it is supposed to be this way! Let's get back to basics together and embrace the simple delights and disciplines such as rest, movement, community, and preparing and enjoying nourishing meals. I think our hearts are craving what is straightforward, healing, and rejuvenating.

♡ Sustainability

Let's unlearn any mindset of diet culture and create a lasting lifestyle that supports the health of our spirit, mind, and body. I have a huge passion for helping women with the implementation and transition that comes with making changes to their current lifestyle. I believe that sustainability is rooted in grace and compassion toward ourselves along the journey. Our journey is also motivated and sustained when we are focused on delighting in God and honoring Him. From there, it's no longer about perfection but simply an "onward and upward" pursuit of wonder with our Maker that is laced with unconditional love and grace.

♡ Grace

"And from his [Jesus's] fullness we have all received, grace upon grace." —John 1:16

At the center of a life with Jesus is His grace toward us. How different would our lives be if we extended this same grace to ourselves and talked more kindly to ourselves? Looked more kindly at ourselves... and others?

Especially on journeys of change and transformation, in this case with our health, both the ingredients of time and grace are important to create a lasting, sustainable lifestyle.

The Greek word in John 1:16 for "grace" is χá½±ριν.

χá½±ριν | charis, pronounced “CARE-us”

1) grace 1a) that which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, loveliness: grace of speech 2) good will, loving-kindness, favour 2a) of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues

Some of the words that stand out to me are: joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, loving-kindness, and God's strengthening and increasing of our faith, knowledge, and affection.

This is the lens that I help women embrace wellness through: Jesus at the center.
